Following the success of the first workshop presented by Kerstin Bilgmann, we are excited to announce a second workshop.
In today’s society we spend a lot of time doing everything forward. We sit in cars, at tables and desks. Enjoy the benefits of bending backwards and opening the heart in this workshop, suitable for beginner level to more advanced students.
Back bending has an activating effect on the body and the nervous system, and gives a feeling of greater wellbeing.
We will also practice ‘nadi shodana pranayama’ to work with the breath and calm the nervous system. Yoga is all about balance! Enjoy the benefits.
If there is time we will play with inversions, tailored to everyone’s ability level from beginner to advanced.
This workshop will cover;
・Back bending – safe and enjoyable, all levels
・Nadi shodana pranayama
・ Inversions – if time allows
Kerstin is a K Pattabhi Jois Asthanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) Authorised Level 2 Ashtanga Yoga teacher, and has been teaching yoga classes and workshops around the world, including Thailand, Maldives, Bali, Phillipines and Australia.
Yoga at South Beach
It’s summer and the perfect weather for beach yoga. Start your weekend with stretching by the sea side. Suitable for all levels of ability. This class is held on the grassed area of South Beach. Mats available for use, please bring a towel.
